The Law & Economics Letter

The Law and Economics Letter

The Law and Economics Letter is a bimonthly online journal of applied Law
and Economics.

While Law and Economics is typically a framework for applying economic
methods to abstract legal questions, our mission is to apply economic analysis
to current legal cases and public affairs. This is the rationale behind our
brief article format and frequent publication schedule (at least for a law
journal).

In the current issue: Should lost future earnings be calculated before or after taxes?

An Announcement for Volume 2:

Volume 2 of the Law and Economics Letter will have a special focus on the Court of International Trade. This court is a relatively recent innovation, and as such has received relatively little popular or academic attention, but its cases are chock full of Law and Economics. We will continue to accept article submissions on any topic for Volume 2, but at least one article in each issue will be devoted to the Court of International Trade.
